For native Italian speakers, CISS follows the national Italian Curriculum for Primary School. The course of studies aims to let the students master their mother tongue. The subject combines intuitive and analytical language acquisition approaches, alongside a methodology focused on the students’ needs, intent on adapting and meeting each case with creativity, understanding, and professionalism.
For non-native speakers, classes 1 to 5 students explore these approaches with games, videos, and the most up to date resources in pedagogy books on the structure of the Italian language, while deepening their use of the language in both oral and verbal settings. On the other hand, outings and excursions encourage the students to share in the rich and beautiful culture of Italy.
